GEAR
The right glove can make or break a player. Choose the best quality possible that also works for your wallet.
Fit, quality, and price
- What size glove does my player need?
- Should I buy leather or synthetic?
- How can I tell if the glove fits correctly?
- Does my player's field position matter?
- How do I break in a stiff glove?
Find the sweet spot
These are the questions to ask before purchasing a bat for your player.
- What certifications does my league require? (Hint: The answer is in rules & downloads)
- How do I know what length bat to purchase?
- What is a bat's "drop weight?"
- How can I tell if a bat is too heavy for my player?
- Should I get an aluminum or composite bat?
The only mandatory equipment is a glove. As a player levels up, better drip can be acquired.
Gear Explained
The most important piece of equipment your player needs is a glove. If your player is just starting out, everything else is optional, even in the older divisions. As players grow and start to understand the game better, their equipment needs and preferences will change. It is not necessary to fully outfit your tee-baller in all of the most expensive gear. We always recommend that your family do what is best for your bank account. The league provides helmets, bats, and face masks for all of our teams.
